What and How Important is a Commercialization Plan? (CP)
GrantsEvaluators recognizes the CP as perhaps the most critical section of any grant proposal. Success depends on converting research results or ideas into innovative competitive technology that sells in the marketplace. Consider the following questions:
1. Can your Company present a compelling value proposition for it's project?
2. Can you, the proposer, make a solid case that there are potential societal,
educational, industrial and/or scientific benefits of this product or service?
3. Does your Company have focused objectives and the appropriate core competencies?
4. How would you rate your company's ability to execute a marketing and sales program
to bring the product or service successfully to market?
5. Is Intellectual Property addressed and are there plans for sufficient protection to get
your product to market and attain at least a temporal competitive advantage?
How Difficult is It To Get a Grant?
